London’s urban woodland: The People’s Forest 

Epping Forest – London’s urban woodland – touches every corner of Waltham Forest, from Leyton in the South to Chingford in the North. Explore the complexity of our human relationship to the forest and the myriad of meanings that we place upon woodlands in this year-long programme of events.

The Willowherb Review are seeking four writers of colour (novice or published author) to create a range of exceptional, original, previously unpublished work; non-fiction, poetry or short fiction for each of the four seasons (winter, spring, summer and autumn).

E17 Art Trail: Wonder 

A 16-day artist led festival featuring the creative work of over 7500 artists, makers, performers and Waltham Forest residents. A much treasured gem in London’s cultural calendar; this year artists are invited to respond to the theme ‘Wonder’ and audiences are invited to encounter artworks on every corner.

The E17 Art Trail was founded in 2005 and has been coordinated by the Artillery team since its inception.
