The workshop will be led by Chloé and Olivia, both graduated from the MA Fashion Futures at London College of Fashion in 2018.
Chloé is a London-based designer and artist focusing on craft, activism and sustainability interrogating the role of the designer. It is really important for her to rethink her place as a creative in society, and how skills and strengths can be of use within the activism space.
Olivia is a fashion designer focusing on sustainable solutions for the design, pattern cutting, and production process. She is currently starting her own social enterprise JOA and is working with charities, second hand garments and her local East London community.
This is one of a series of co-making workshops organized by London College of Fashion in partnership with Forest Recycling Project during London Borough of Culture 2019 under the “Making for Change: Waltham Forest| project led by Dr Francesco Mazzarella.
