Leytonstone Loves Film 2020

16 Sept – 4 Oct 2020

Leytonstone

Produced by: the Barbican in partnership with local residents and organisations and commissioned by the London Borough of Waltham Forest
Leytonstone Loves Film celebrates and explores the area’s rich cinema history for filmmakers and movie lovers alike.

In 2019 we came together for a spectacular weekend of movie magic in unexpected places across Leytonstone from the Library and St John’s to the Social Club, the Birds, the Red Lion and the Church Lane carpark.

This year, although things look a little different, from 16 September we can still celebrate cinema and the love of stories that help us feel connected, whether these are about Leytonstone High Road, the view from your back yard or come from further afield.

Visit the Leytonstone Loves Film website to explore the festival programme which is full of watch parties, filmmaking workshops from Forest Film Club and get involved in making a movie with your neighbours and Stow Film Lounge.

Leytonstone Loves Film is produced by the Barbican in partnership with local residents and organisations and the London Borough of Waltham Forest.
