An exhibition showcasing the unique skill set and creative process of Stephen Jones, the last remaining clicking press toolmaker in London.
This exhibition shows how a piece of steel can be transformed into a leather cutting tool and gives insight into the relationship between the craftsman, materials and his tools.
Curated by Xandra Drepaul, a lecturer at the London College of fashion, as a part of a research residency aiming to retain and develop a sustainable future for Stephen’s craft.
