Looking for something to do over the half-term break? Why not make your way down to Fellowship Square? We have a week packed full of fun activities for all the family! The Early Years Service will be running bear-themed story telling sessions either side of a sensory activity. We also have a pop up library, bead jewellery making and a plant pot placards activity with children. Last but not least we have games for the whole family including AJ Basketball Shootout, Giant Snakes & Ladders & Giant Tumble Tower as well as the Bouncy Castle.

Soft play centre
Saturdays 23 and 30 October, 11am-4pm
To kick off half term there will be a children's soft play centre on the grass at Fellowship Square. Suitable for children of all ages.
Bouncy Castle, Bowling and inflatables
Sunday 24 October, Tuesday 26 October and Sunday 31 October, 11am-3pm
On Sunday 24 October and Tuesday 26 October, the popular bouncy castle and slide will return to Fellowship Square; and on the Sunday there'll be even more fun with our inflatable twin bowling alley!
The bouncy castle and inflatable bowling alley are suitable for children aged under five and are free - no need to book. They are regularly cleaned for your health and safety.
Please note the inflatable bowling alley will feature on Sunday 24 October only.
Flamingo Chicks - inclusive dance classes for early years children
Tuesday 26 October, 9am-12pm
These dance classes for under-fives are aimed to be as inclusive as possible for all children including those with complex needs. There will be three forty-five minute sessions out on the grass, with the option to go inside if it gets rainy!
The sessions will run 9am-9.45am, 10am-10.45am, and 11am-11.45am. No need to book, just turn up.

Suitable for under-fives and their parents, these interactive storytelling sessions are designed to support early years development and help children develop and learn.
Pop-up library and bead jewellery making

Our popular pop-up library event is back, outside at Fellowship Square - come for the books, stay for the bead jewellery making! Suitable for children and adults of all ages, come and learn how to make beautiful bead jewellery with our fantastic library staff.
Plant pot placards
Thursday 28 October, 11am-1.30pm
A creative activity session out on the grass at Fellowship Square aimed at children of all ages to make small placards that can be displayed in plant pots. Run by the Climate Action Outreach Coordinator as part of our work to address the climate emergency in Waltham Forest.
