Walthamstow Assembly Hall
The sold out event welcomed music lovers from across the borough and beyond to Walthamstow Assembly Hall for a night of musical exploration.
Cream drummer Ginger Baker (Rolling Stone Magazine’s top 3 drummers of all time) headlined the festival with his Jazz Confusion outfit. The line-up also included a DJ set from the effortlessly cool Django Django, free jazz pioneer Evan Parker, Stereolab’s Laetitia Sadier, Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore, and rising stars such as Emma-Jean Thackray, Binker Golding, Project Karnak and others.
The festival took place at the beautiful Walthamstow Assembly Hall, in partnership with London Borough of Culture 2019, Dalston’s sodas and Perky Blenders coffee.
There was stellar jazz across two stages, and records on sale from YAM Records, Weekertoft, Wormfood, Ecstatic Peace Library, None More Records and Byrd Out.
