Come and experience Waltham Forest!
Experience Waltham Forest is an Airbnb funded project delivered locally in the borough by Waltham Forest Council.
We have been working hard with local businesses to support the delivery of the principles set out in our Visitor Experience Charter - a set of best practices designed to enhance customer service across the borough.
These businesses and their staff now form the Waltham Forest Experience Makers, a group of high quality ambassadors for the borough, who will play a key role in helping you enjoy many of the borough's hidden gems.
Included in our Experience Makers are members of staff from Transport for London, Airbnb hosts, plus a wide range of local pubs, restaurants, and shops. You’ll be able to identify accredited businesses from their unique window stickers and badges, and are included in the Waltham Forest Culture Guide.
The Waltham Forest Culture Guide has been put together with the help of local Airbnb hosts. Whilst including our local favourites, the guide will also include recommendations from local hosts, showcasing places of interests, restaurants, pubs and quirky shops that are off the beaten track.
