April - August 2019
Borough wide
Each Human Library event will be held in libraries across Waltham Forest where you can select your “book” from the book list and get lost in conversation and stories about the borough’s past, present and future. The “book” list will be made up of local residents with a story to tell. They will showcase the breadth and depth of Waltham Forest. There are many stories to tell and many connections waiting to be made.
After a successful inaugural series of 5 events in libraries across Waltham Forest, the Human Library returns for the summer series, this time in parks across the borough. Join us at:
Waltham Forest Mela - Sunday 4 August, Jubilee Park, Leyton, E10
Chingfest - Saturday 31 August, Ridgeway Park, Chingford, E4
Do you have an interesting story to tell?
The Human Library is looking for volunteers to become books at the summer events.
If you've got two hours to spare and have a story to tell then sign up here. Registration deadline Monday 22 July.
