Virtual Culture and Beyond

As we head in to lockdown once more, take time to see what Waltham Forest and its artist communities have been creating this year. From musicians to dancers, chefs to painters, a lot of new creativity has been sparked by time spent at home or in the local community and many have risen to the challenge and found innovative ways to share that joy of making with others.

Artists in the borough have been busy working on new projects and generating engaging content all year, online and off. If you want to be entertained or to get crafty, then take a look at the activities below. We have lots of different making projects for children and adults to enjoy.

Building on the success of being the Mayor's first London Borough of Culture in 2019, Waltham forest's Culture programme will continue to bring culture to you virtually and find new ways to get involved.

Funded by the Great Place Scheme in Waltham Forest: Creative Connections, a programme supported by Arts Council England and the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The Great Place Scheme is designed to put arts, culture and heritage at the heart of the local community.
