East London Shakespeare Festival presents…

Behind Closed Doors Shakespeare

Watch and engage with brilliant local theatre from the comfort of your own couches!
Local professional actors have filmed themselves performing some of Shakespeare’s most famous monologues from any outdoor space they have access to...balconies, gardens and even windows becoming their stage.

Enjoy, respond and tell us what you think. If you feel really inspired film your own, send it to us and we will upload on to our YouTube channel!

East London Shakespeare Festival (ELSF) was founded by Ursula Early and Rosie Ward. Both work as professional actors, producers and directors; and live and work in Waltham Forest.
They met while doing outdoor Shakespeare and now 'the wheel is come full circle' ... it is their shared enthusiasm for creating fun, accessible events in beautiful local outdoor spaces, which sparked the idea behind the birth of ELSF.

Actors: Catherine Skinner, Keith Hill, Joseph Adelakun, Rosie Ward, Ursula Early and Jack Bence. Full actors biographies are available on our YouTube channel and Website.
