An album of new music from the artists of Waltham Forest recorded over lockdown 2020.
The Music Halls Project, with the support of Waltham Forest Council and Arts Council England, present, Forest Sound Archive - a collection of music recorded in collaboration during lockdown by some of the best musicians, instrumentalists and music producers living and working in the borough. Earlier this year, more than a dozen musicians found a way to overcome the challenges of lockdown to create collaborative pieces in reaction to their isolation and the pandemic.
This unique compilation brings together such diverse talents as singer/songwriter and producer Charles Watson, members of jazz and Afrobeat-meets-electronic sensations Nubiyan Twist and Onipa; award-winning composer/singer/songwriter Paul Mosley; and violinisg Emma Smith of the acclaimed chamber group Elysian Quartet.
