Recording Hidden Sounds Workshop

We're All Bats presents a rare opportunity to learn about the variety of recording techniques to capture sounds that are not usually audible to the ear. Developing recording skills using different kinds of microphones.

A day long practical workshop where participants will be listening and recording electromagnetic waves, underwater sounds, field recordings, infra-sound and ultra-sound.

The workshop involves sessions on theory, field craft, practical work in the field and listening sessions.

Participants need to bring their own recorders.

Led by world-renowned sound recordist Jez Riley French.
