Sunday 27 October
Waltham Forest Community Hub (Asian Centre)
After a brief introduction to the basics of electronics, the focus is on building two oscillators cascading one into the other using simple chips and logic gates. The result is simple. It is expressive to play and fun to make.
Pitch and rhythmic patterns can be modulated and the sound can be amplified on large speakers.
All the necessary components will be distributed at the beginning of the workshop, participants keep the synth built.
This workshop is funded by Waltham Forest London Borough of Culture 2019, the cost partially covers the kit provided at the beginning of the class.
No previous experience necessary.
