From Friday 8 May
Virtual Culture Programme 2020
The Home Project poses a simple question...what does it mean to us? Putting Waltham forest under the microscope as the projects second destination, we look at residents old and new. The aim is to use personal stories to highlight all aspects of a growing community, and to explore the opinions of the residents as the community expands and changes.
Home Film Project will premiere a selection of short films directed by local award-winning filmmaker Ashton John online thought the up and coming weeks.
Through a series of short films with residents and interviews, the project will look at the lives of residents both old and new, shining a light on individual characters that show the broad spectrum of inhabitants, their contributions and how they have built their own legacies, how they have built a home, and what this has involved.
The projects selected six residences will have their personal short film screenings online throughout the coming weeks. Be a part of the ongoing conversation of Home in WF sharing what it means to you.
