The weird and wonderful World of Mushrooms can teach us much about ourselves – and the world we live in. Waltham Forest Fungus Fortnight will celebrate the Fungal Kingdom/Queendom through art, music, and hands-on education, connecting our community with nature – and each other.

Mushrooms are mysterious. They capture our imagination like no other organisms. Perceived as life-giving, mind-blowing and deadly, they simultaneously inspire fear, wonder, and confusion. Against the odds, Fungi thrive in urban landscapes like East London too.
