March 2021 - March 2022
Leyton
Leyton Georgics is an innovative, accessible live performance, combining poetry, music, theatre, and photography. Created by award-winning makers Chris Goode & Company (CG&Co), the piece will be developed from interviews with local residents regarding their day-to-day lives, to create an inspiring, affirmative portrait of the area and its people.
In 2021, CG&Co will be celebrating a decade of acclaimed, innovative performance making, with Leyton Georgics the company’s first project to celebrate and serve its Waltham Forest home. Development activity with community partners will unfold over the coming months, ahead of live performances in November, alongside opportunities for online engagement.
