A celebration of creativity and co-creation residents, professional artists and nearby makers will come together to develop a programme of large scale art installations. Residents will pair with local younger neighbours. Creating more than art, Inside Out Festival will form friendships and create relationships that transcend generations.

View photographic images produced in the group’s own mobile developing studio and follow traces of life stories and experiences through words and abstract images. Step into a world of light and darkness, sound and portraiture and explore the glowing world of the residents of George Mason Lodge and their local neighbours!
Led by local artist Natalie Keymist & theatre maker Sue Mayo the intergenerational group have been getting to know one another through creative making, conversation and community spirit throughout November.

Glebelands Residential Housing Scheme Leyton, E10 5LY
A display of artworks inspired by cinema and the group’s own life stories. View collaged film posters imagining “If our lives were a film...”, storyboards and scenic models of the participant’s ‘movies.’ Explore cinema-inspired paintings made through experiments with light and projection onto canvas, and the group’s exciting creations in clay and costume.
